Denton Town came from behind to win the Manchester FA County Cup #mfacountycup. What a night it was for the Town, the crowd and atomosphere was buzzing for a cold Friday night and the team played with such heart and passion.
The first half seen Denton go in front with a finish from Josh Rushby, Town could have had a second before half time but Chadderton headed home a cross just before half time and went in 1-1.
Town came out for the 2nd half a bit slow and Chadderton tapped in a cross to go 2-1 in front, the second half was a tough battle for Denton and there was a lengthy delay as a few altercations happened following a late tackle from Chadderton.
Towards the end of the 90 Josh Rusby was fowled in the area and a late penalty was given, Rusby stepped up calmly and slotted it in. Deep into injury time Town got a freekick, you could hear some of the crowd shouting keep it and some shouting throw it in, the freekick was thrown in and up jumps Rushby to flick it on and, it went it to fulfill Rushby's hat trick and to win the game for Denton.
Well done all of the boys and the management team, it was a fantastic night and celebrations went on into the night.
